Dhaka, 24 August, 2022:
A half day long online review workshop was held at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) on 24 August, 2022. Mr. Ahmed Jamal, Chairman of BIBM Executive Committee and Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present in the review workshop as the chief guest. Mohammed Sohail Mustafa CFA, Associate Professor & Director (Training & Certification Program) of BIBM delivered welcome address. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Director General of BIBM Chaired the Program. 

A paper titled “Islamic Banking Operations in Bangladesh” was presented in the workshop by Md. Alamgir, Associate Professor of BIBM. Other members of the review workshop were Mohammed Sohail Mustafa CFA, Associate Professor & Director (Training & Certification Program) of BIBM; Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain, Assistant Professor of BIBM; Tahmina Rahman, Assistant Professor of BIBM; Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, Researcher of ISRA. 
Dr. Barkat-e-Khuda, Dr. Muzaffer Ahmad Chair Professor of BIBM & Former  Professor of Dhaka University; Md. Fariduddin Ahmed, Chairman, Executive Committee of Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh (CSBIB); Muhammad Qaisar Ali, Additional Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited; Md. Mohon Miah, Head of Business Development & Shariah Secretariat Coordinator of Standard Bank Limited; Dr. Mohammad Kabir Hassan, Professor of Finance, University of New Orleans made comments as designated discussants.
A good number of participants including senior bank executives, academicians, faculty members of BIBM took part in the online review workshop.##
