Financial Analysis for Banks (Outreach, Venue: Rangpur)
a. To Develop Skilled Financial Analyst Needed for the Sound Credit and Investment Decision.
b. To Acquaint the Participants with the Techniques Commonly used for Assessing Financial Health of Different Types of Customers and Projects.
c. To Familiarize the Participants with the Techniques used for Assessing Financial Performance and Risks of Banks and Financial Institutions.
a. Introduction to Financial Statements- Techniques of Financial Analysis, Projected Financial Statements, Comparative and Common- Size Statement Analysis, Ratio Analysis, and Cash Flow Analysis.
b. Financial Viability of Projects-Cost of the Project and Means of Finance, Break-Even Analysis, Capital Budgeting Techniques-Pay Back Period (PBP), Discounted Pay Back Period (DPBP), Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Risk and Sensitivity Analysis.
c. Valuation of Financial Assets- Techniques of Stock and Bond Valuation.
d. Asset Liability Management (ALM) - Liquidity Risk Management.
e. Analysis and Interpretation of Financial Statements of Banks, Pricing Techniques of Banking Products.
Terms
a. BIBM member banks can access the online nomination form before forty (40) days of the commencement of programs. BIBM member banks can nominate a maximum number of three (03) participants for a Outreach Training Course. The maximum number of participants in each Outreach Training Course is 40. However, if the number of total nominees exceeds the maximum number, a final list of 40 participants will be prepared by the BIBM authority which will be available online five (05) days prior to the commencement of the Outreach Training Course. Information in regard to rejection of any nomination will be communicated to the concerned bank at least three (03) days before the commencement of the Outreach Training Course. No participant under the target group/level is allowed to participate in any Outreach Training Course.
Registration Fee:
All Fees are excluding VAT and Tax.
Methods of Payment:
The pay order/bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management’ has to be sent at least Three (03) days prior to the commencement of the Outreach Training Course to Director General, Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, Plot #4, Mail Road-1, Mirpur-2, Dhaka-1216. The nominee(s) have to submit a copy of the nomination letter (containing mobile number & email address) & photocopy of bank draft/pay order at the time of registration to join the Outreach Training Course (Bangladesh Bank Rangpur Office) on 31 Aug, 2025 at 10.am.
