  • Objectives:
    • To Develop Skills of Participants Needed for Effective Dealing with Customers Involved in Agro-Based CMSME Business.
    • To Enable the Participants to Understand the Overall Economic and Agrarian Environment and the Role of Credit to Promote Agro-Based CMSME in Bangladesh.
    • To Promote Skills of the Participants for Appraising Agro-Based CMSME Business Proposals for Financing, Understanding Operational Procedures and Managing them Effectively.

    • Agro-based CMSME Business- Concept, Types and Role in Economic Development of Bangladesh and Policy Environment for Financing.
    • Identification and Formulation of Agro-based CMSME Business Proposals-Selection of bankable Borrowers and Development of Entrepreneurs.
    • Appraisal of Agro-based CMSME Projects- Managerial Aspect, Organizational Aspects, Marketing Aspect, Technical Aspect, Financial Aspects (Cash Flow Forecast, Discounted Cash Flow Techniques, Risk and Sensitivity Analysis) and Economic Aspect.
    • Approaches and Initiatives of Banks and Other Financial Institutions for Financing Agro-based CMSME Business.
    • Credit Sanctioning Process of Agro-based CMSME- Repayment Schedule, Different Methods of Charge Creation, Documentation and Disbursement Procedures, Monitoring and Follow-up.
    • Identification of Non-performing Loans and Recovery of Agro-based CMSME Loan including Non-legal and Legal Measures.
    • Financing Farm and Off-farm Related Agro-based CMSME business.
    • Innovative Financing and Value Chain Financing in Agro-based CMSME Business in Bangladesh.

a. BIBM member banks can access the online nomination form before forty (40) days of the commencement of programs. BIBM member banks can nominate a maximum number of three (03) participants for a Outreach Training Course. The maximum number of participants in each Outreach Training Course is 40. However, if the number of total nominees exceeds the maximum number, a final list of 40 participants will be prepared by the BIBM authority which will be available online five (05) days prior to the commencement of the Outreach Training Course. Information in regard to rejection of any nomination will be communicated to the concerned bank at least three (03) days before the commencement of the Outreach Training Course. No participant under the target group/level is allowed to participate in any Out Training Course.

b. As per the decision of the BIBM Governing Board, BIBM Member Banks (except Bangladesh Bank) are required to pay BDT 1800 per day per participant including holidays (if any) as training fees which also include Accommodation, Food, and other miscellaneous expenses. However, for Bangladesh Bank, the fee is BDT 500 per day per participant. All Fees are excluding VAT and Tax. 

c. The pay order/bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management’ has to be sent at least seven (07) days prior to the commencement of the Outeach Training Course.
